I will always think of that boy when I hear a viola; I had him in mind this week in describing the consonant mid-way in 'lisière' in a line from Rimbaud. I haven't met him and I do not suppose I will, this is all because of the power of your page.
the lesson the strings teach- for some reason-seem to guide their pupils in a very mystical way. they are able to pack what they need so easily in one case-(at least my niece-violin- seems to do so)-they travel lightly and with wings.
