    and you will participate I presume... the past is another country... never thought of it that way ...I don't know what to think of it ... my past is so much part of what I am ...

    the original phrase is "the past is another country, they do things differently there."
    and yes, the past is indeed always a part of us, inseparable, like these images from london.
