the cracked wall "asks" for a trecento fresco
ReplyDeleteactually, this is the last remaining mission full of frescos - untouched, not restored. unfortunately because of massive earthquake damage some years ago, they are restoring the church now.
ReplyDeleteit sits on the san andreas fault line.
a miracle really that it has survivied.
