we have made a change

and we are glad for it

everything seemed hard leading up to it

but here we are 

looking out over the pacific 

from a different angle

and the morning light is magnificent

and you feel alive again

and you wonder why you have ever been afraid.

i've run down to the sea 

to christen this day
in the icy cold pacific
glad for change.
