well lily, our happiness which we take totally for granted is to see guy win mavericks after fourteen years particiating and finally winning at 43! I have to tell you 43 does not seem that old to me...I had Tenn then, but this guy has just been there from the first moment, before there even was a Mavericks ! How very cool that he never gave up, a lesson to all! I am totally mesmerized watching surfing, though I am not a surfer myself, it seems like the absolute poetry of sport- physically and spiritually...
